Sogndal as a communication junction

Sogndal is the communication junction in Indre Sogn, with its daily connections to Oslo, Bergen, Lillehammer, Ålesund and Trondheim, either by plane or bus. The plane will take you to Oslo in just 40 minutes and the bus in about 7 hours. Bergen can be reached by bus (4 hours), express boat or is only a 20-minute flight away. There are several express buses to Lillehammer, Ålesund and Trondheim every day– taking from 5 to 11 hours – which take you through the wonderful nature of Western Norway!
