Med over 3000 studentar i kommunen tek me vertsskapsrolla vår på alvor for å vidareutvikla Sogndal som ein god studiestad.
Det er viktig at studentane sjølve får høve til å seia noko om det som angår dei. Studentmeldinga er eit direkte resultat av medverknad og innspel frå studentane, HVL, Saman, Velferdstinget Vest, Studentrådet og studentorganisasjonane.
Studentmeldinga legg grunnlaget for ein strategi som peikar på viktige område for studentar i Sogndal. Den har gitt studentane moglegheit til å medverke i arbeidet om å gjere kommunen til ein god vertskommune. Studentmeldinga sitt føremål er å avklara og synleggjera viktige innsatsområde, mål og strategiar som kommunen skal leggja til grunn for å gjera Sogndal til ei attraktiv studiebygd.

The municipal council has approved the Student Report for Sogndal municipality
With over 3000 students in the municipality, we take our hosting role seriously to further develop Sogndal as a good study city.
It is important that the students themselves have the opportunity to say something about what concerns them. The student report is a direct result of participation and input from the students, HVL, Saman, Velferdstinget Vest (the Welfare Parliament West), the Student Council and the student organizations.
The student report lays the foundation for a strategy that points to important areas for students in Sogndal. It has given students the opportunity to participate in the work of making the municipality a good host municipality. The purpose of the student report is to clarify and highlight important focus areas, goals and strategies that the municipality will use as a basis for making Sogndal an attractive study area.
